A safe and secure nation is both reasonable and requisite. Our path forward requires reckoning with this extreme moment- conscientious and comprehensive immigration reform, while preserving a steadfast commitment to national security.

HUMANE ENFORCEMENT

ICE must be regulated and accountable like other law enforcement agencies, respect legal due process, and treat immigrants and those seeking citizenship with dignity.

 

Eliminate mass detention centers.

 

Targeted legislation to counter unlawful executive orders such as ending birthright citizenship (EO14160) and penalizing sanctuary jurisdictions (EO14287).

 

Restore asylum protections for immigrants fleeing violence.
