Democratic congressional candidates will gather at the party headquarters building in Montgomery at 1 p.m. on Wednesday to promote what they call a "unified" agenda ahead of the upcoming elections.

According to Alabama Political Reporter, present will be Clyde Jones, candidate for District 1; Lee McInnis, District 3; Amanda Puszcek, District 4; Andrew Sneed, District 5; Keith Pilkington, District 6; and Dakarai Larriett running for an open U.S. Senate seat.

Candidates say that they will work towards policies to address what was called a divisive status quo in Alabama.

The gathering will be held at the headquarters located at 501 Adams Ave.
